Baby Poindexter!!!

Okay, so here is a post I've been so excited about. You ready? I'M GOING TO BE AN AUNT!!! I mean I don't know if you all are as excited about this post as I am considering its not your sister so you won't be an aunt...that is unless you have a sister who is also pregnant and therefore making you an aunt too?! We can share in our excitement at becoming an aunt together :) I love babies and my sister and I do more newborn session then anything else so when this little one is born in September we are going to go crazy with ideas and poses to do with baby Poindexter :) She's not far enough along yet to find out what she's having but when she does I'll be sure to share some photos with you! I'll also leave a link to her blog below so you can go over and tell her congratulations or just to check her stuff out either way click the link and follow her blog! Okay now on to the photos! Jordan Mustard : Senior Session

Senior portraits are some of my favorite sessions. This sessions was so much fun because not only is there a horse involved but Jordan is also my sister in law! We took her senior portraits at a barn called Bridlewood in Chesapeake where she has her horse Chance. I met her at the barn and we started going to town. Jordan is also a photographer and like most of us we feel way more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it but she rocked the whole session and I loved getting the chance to capture her in front of the camera for once ;) Enjoy!

Cade Joyner: Newborn session

In January we had our very first newborn session of the new year. We love the Joyner family and they are very dear to our hearts. This is the Joyner's 9th baby and we've taken all the newborn pictures for this family starting with Colton baby number 6. We've taken tons of family pictures for them over the year and they are the family that owns the famous 'Red Barn' that so many people request for their pictures and being wonderful people that they are they've allowed us to take so many family pictures along with our Christmas mini sessions the past two year at their place. I can't believe that I am just now getting around to posting these pictures (SO SORRY!) Enjoy <3
