Baby Poindexter!!!

Okay, so here is a post I've been so excited about. You ready? I'M GOING TO BE AN AUNT!!! I mean I don't know if you all are as excited about this post as I am considering its not your sister so you won't be an aunt...that is unless you have a sister who is also pregnant and therefore making you an aunt too?! We can share in our excitement at becoming an aunt together :) I love babies and my sister and I do more newborn session then anything else so when this little one is born in September we are going to go crazy with ideas and poses to do with baby Poindexter :) She's not far enough along yet to find out what she's having but when she does I'll be sure to share some photos with you! I'll also leave a link to her blog below so you can go over and tell her congratulations or just to check her stuff out either way click the link and follow her blog! Okay now on to the photos! Jordan Mustard : Senior Session

Senior portraits are some of my favorite sessions. This sessions was so much fun because not only is there a horse involved but Jordan is also my sister in law! We took her senior portraits at a barn called Bridlewood in Chesapeake where she has her horse Chance. I met her at the barn and we started going to town. Jordan is also a photographer and like most of us we feel way more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it but she rocked the whole session and I loved getting the chance to capture her in front of the camera for once ;) Enjoy!

Kelleigh's Maternity Pictures

This winter my cousin Kelleigh announced that she was pregnant and I was super excited. I was even more excited at the possibility of getting to take her maternity pictures! okay, okay so I wasn't more excited but It was pretty close :) This shoot was super fun and easy. Kelleigh is also into photography so she was super easy to take pictures of because she knew what light would look best and how to pose. It also helped that I had my ever so talented sister Erin Honeycutt along and my cousin Olivia Bushnell. With all four of us together as a team It was nearly impossible to capture an ugly picture :)
